Skukuza Golf Club

Played golf today at Skukuza golf course, a great 9 hole course around Lake Panic, completely open to the game reserve, game can move freely around including the big 5. I hired a cart for Lettie and I walked the course making sure that Lettie and the cart were close by, just in case we encountered one of the big 5, not sure what protection the little golf cart would give, it was so slow, I could probably run faster if need be. The only game we encountered were Impala, Warthog and Hippo in the lake.

I had an enjoyable round of golf and managed to play reasonably well considering my lack of Golf while on Holiday.
We had a great breakfast at the club house after the round.

After Golf we went to our favorite waterhole on the Salitje road (S30) where we had a snooze and waited to see what would come and drink. Our snooze was interrupted by a troop of Baboon which arrived to feed in the tree above us. we also had a large journey of Giraffe come to drink. We left with only enough time to get back to Lower Sabie by 5-30 pm.

An end to a great day, sunset taken from the bridge
