Cape Clawless Otter

Every visit to Kruger rewards you with a new sighting or experience, today we saw the Cape Clawless Otter, in 40 odd years of visiting the park we have never seen the Otter in the wild.
They were fishing in the Sabie River, we watched them from the bridge on the H10 near Lower Sabie. A really special sighting.

Lions Hunting on the S28, 8 crossed the road all alert and on the hunt.

14 + Lions doing what Lions love to do.... Sleep. Seen at Duke waterhole.

This is the waterhole on the S130, If you look at our 2014 Blog you will see the story of Prince the Frothy Tree Frog, this is the pan that we released the frog. We have watched this Pan drying up since 1 June when there was a reasonable amount of water to today when it is just mud. It is sad to see the animals milling around the pan trying to get a drink.

Other recent sighting

Huge tusker on the S28

A Large Spotted Genet visited our site tonight while we were braaing and sat in the tree watching us eat.

I think this is the same one that was around last year.

Elephant crossing the Sabie River. Spot the Saddle Billed Stork flying down the river.
