Lower Sabie 7 nights

Settled in at Lower Sabie, we have a nice big site.

Bookings opened on the 1st August for June and July next year, Lettie was up early to secure our bookings for next year, while I went out for a short drive.

This is day 12 in Kruger, still no Cheetah, Leopard or Wild Dog, lots of time left.

It is the Skukuza Marathon on Saturday 5 August so the park is very full, Wednesday 9, next week, is woman’s day and the private schools are on holiday, it is going to be busy.

I booked a game of golf on Friday at Skukuza golf club.

Teeing off on the 3rd hole at Kambaku with the Crocodile river in the background and a pod of Hippo visible on the sandbank.

Trucks lining up to cross at the Lebomba border post.

This is a painting of Kambaku the elephant that the golf club is named after
Played nine holes and was 3 over for my round. 3x3 putts.

Our site at Lower Sabie

Kittlitz Plover at sunset dam,

Hyena drinking in the puddles after the rains

3 Male lions on the H-10.

timing is everything if we had been 5 min earlier or later we would have missed them.

huge tusker on the H-10

Kicking Zebra, watched these Zebra play fighting for hours.

Elephants also bumping heads.

Fast asleep on the tar road with the infant suckling.
